I’m from Hertfordshire, UK and I’m an accidental artist.

I’ve had an interest in drawing since a young age, I really liked the idea of being a cartoonist one day. There was one major problem; I didn’t know I could draw!

Fast forward to March 2023, I purchased some cheap sketchpads with the intention of using them to jot down notes and doodle. Before I knew it I started to really enjoy drawing! Okay, that’s an understatement, I was obsessed!

A few weeks into my new obsession, I drew my colleague, and to my amazement, people actually knew it was him! Although I was amused when a few asked me, “Is that Mr Bean?”.

I quickly found myself really drawn to portraits over anything else. Capturing the likeness and a sense of realism became my passion. I made a few portraits as gifts and began sharing my work with close friends and family on social media. The joy I was able to bring out in others with my drawings made the many hours upon hours they take to make worth every second!

It wasn’t long before the first person said “Do you do commissions?”. The answer was no, I hadn’t even considered it. The more I drew and the more I shared the more people started asking me the same question. Then finally, in September 2023 I took my first order, 5 dogs over 4 drawings. Well, that kept me busy! I’ve been doing commissions since and I love the joy it brings my customers.
