Neurodetermined Song

Hi, I’m Paul from PersonablePortraits, and I wrote the words to this song. It’s about being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world. It captures the common feeling of not quite fitting in, while also reflecting the challenges we face. At the same time, it celebrates our strength, determination, and the ability to live and love authentically as ourselves, embracing the unique beauty of being neurodivergent. I originally wrote the lyrics as part of my neurodiversity awareness projects and shared them with different music artists. This studio version was brought to life by the wonderful Lori-Estelle, who, like me, also has ADHD. She’s not only incredibly talented and such a kind person, but the music, melody, and vocals are 100% her amazing work. I’m now working with her on a full neurodiversity-themed album.
